Amy brings a rare combination of scholarly perspective, practical knowledge and experience, as well as bold ingenuity to the ILS team. Specializing in Organizational Development, Diversity and Inclusion Strategies, and Group Facilitation, Amy has the unique gift of balancing insights, interaction and impact with objectivity. Her strategic mindset is valued by the leaders she partners with in helping them envision, shape, develop, communicate and implement strategies, initiatives and solutions. One of Amy's unique specializations is the application of visual facilitation methods to support visioning, planning, learning and change to her clients. Amy's career path has been in the small and large business sector. She began her career in a boutique public relations firm followed by leadership roles at Trinity University, Girl Scouts, Saturn Corporation, General Motors, and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She has been consulting for 12 years in a variety of engagements in over 80 organizations including corporations, nonprofits, education, government and associations. Amy received her Doctorate of Education in Human Resource Development with concentrations in leadership and organization development at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN, Master of Arts in Public Communication at The American University, Washington, DC and Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Trinity University, San Antonio, TX. |
