Steve Kuper

Steve Kuper believes in living your passion and choosing your attitude! As President of Innovative Learning Strategies, LLC, Steve does both on a daily basis! If you've ever experienced one of his training sessions, you know Steve fuses creativity, innovation, fun, interaction and practicality to directly impact performance in the workplace.

Steve has more than 20 years of keynote, training and consulting experience, including nine years in the corporate training department of United Airlines in Chicago where he designed and delivered its Onboard Service Division's Initial Training Program in diversity, conflict management, communication skills and corporate culture. Steve also designed United's first Diversity Awareness curriculum.

In 2000, Steve launched his own company, Kuper & Associates, LLC, with a dual focus on training and consulting. Today, that company is known as Innovative Learning Strategies, LLC (ILS). In his work at ILS, Steve has noted an increasing number of corporations seeking to capitalize on human differences. This creates an escalating demand for diversity learning options. It also has created multiple consulting opportunities for ILS to partner with corporations as they re-examine their cultures to determine whether their organizations are aligned with values that embrace and optimize a diverse work experience as well as are structured in such a way as to retain the talent whom they recruit.

In response to this growing interest in human differences, over half of ILS' work concentrates on diversity, leadership and change management consulting. A sampling of ILS' current client roster includes: Appleton (formerly Appleton Papers), Affinity Health System, Bassett Mechanical, Schenck Business Solutions, Cardinal Stritch University, Adventures in Advertising, 4-imprint, Outagamie County, Trega Foods, The City of Appleton and Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce.

Steve majored in Social Studies with a field concentration in Sociology at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Steve is an active member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce. He also serves in an advisory capacity with the People Department of Goodwill Industries, is a Board Member for The US Oil/JJ Keller Basic Needs Giving Partnership, and a Board Member for The Paine Art Center, Oshkosh. Steve is a published writer and regular contributor to The Pfeiffer Annuals.
