Tim is an entrepreneurial leader with an impressive track record of bringing people from diverse disciplines together to solve intractable problems. He specializes in the development and training of leadership, results and performance accountability, strategic plans, entrepreneurial solutions to social problems, and achieving outstanding outcomes through partnerships and collaborations. Tim's executive level management experience has made him a leader in innovations to improve results and performance based accountability. He partners and is affiliated with the following professional consulting groups: Public Strategies Group, St. Paul, MN; Center for Business Excellence, University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis, MN; Fieldstone Alliance, St. Paul, MN; Innovative Learning Strategies, Appleton, WI; and Full Circle Community Institute. Previously, Tim served as the Executive Director of the Alliance for Families and Children in Hennepin County, Minnesota from 1996-2001. His career began as a social worker for homeless youth and adults. This work with Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Minneapolis and St. Paul led to his being invited to work for the State of Minnesota in community-based prevention and intervention initiatives. While working for the State, Tim implemented a statewide reform effort of strategic partnerships designed to bring about broad-based systemic changes to improve the lives of children and families. Two awards from the Minnesota Council on Government Innovation acknowledged his work in government reform. He currently serves as the Project Director of the Domestic Fatality Review Team in Hennepin County. To augment his career and extensive domestic and international volunteer experiences, Tim completed a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government, as an Archibald Bush Leadership Fellow. He also completed a Masters Degree in Public Affairs at the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. He is a licensed social worker and has received awards for his dedicated work and commitment to support the success of children and families. He holds a Masters Certificate in Leadership Development from Harvard University. His academic achievements include an undergraduate degree in psychology and economic/business administration from St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota and international studies in Spanish and Liberation Theology from the Universidad Catolica in Lima, Peru. Tim is an adjunct professor for the University of St. Thomas College of Business, Center for Health and Medical Affairs, Minneapolis, MN; and the College of Management, Master of Public and Nonprofit Administration, at Metropolitan State University in St. Paul and Minneapolis, MN. He serves on the board of directors for several nonprofit organizations in the Twin Cities. |
